Where is LAKU Culture?
LAKU Culture is located in Mawun, South Lombok, between Kuta Lombok and Selong Belanak.
Do we need to book before visiting?
Advance inquiry is recommended, especially for workshops, families, private groups, and visitors with limited time. This helps LAKU prepare the right Culture Keeper, materials, and schedule.
Can I visit without booking a workshop?
Visitors can ask about a simple visit, but hands-on workshops and private programs should be arranged in advance so the experience is ready when you arrive.
What happens during a visit?
Visitors can meet Culture Keepers, observe Indonesian cultural practices, ask questions, enjoy the atmosphere, and inquire about workshops, products, or longer learning programs.
How long should we stay?
A simple visit can be shorter, while most workshops are relaxed half-day experiences of about 3-4 hours. Full-day formats can be arranged depending on participant availability.
What should we bring?
Wear comfortable clothes and bring anything personal your group needs. You do not need to bring water because LAKU provides water, a traditional drink, and traditional snacks.
What happens if it rains?
LAKU has a fully covered indoor space with AC and fans, plus a covered terrace for outdoor seating, so visits and workshops can continue comfortably in rainy weather.
